From 1973 through the mid 1990s, arena acts didn't play Nashville, they played Murfreesboro. For over 20 years, Murphy Center on the MTSU Campus was the venue for epic concert performances from Elvis to U2 to Garth Brooks, as well as WWE and WCW events, the Judds' Farewell Concert, Charlie Daniels' Volunteer Jam, and much much more. Eventually Nashville built bigger venues like Starwood Amphitheater and Bridgestone Arena that killed the Glass House's mojo, but the era of epic shows lives on in the memories of Boro residents and MTSU alumni. Filmed and edited by Dave Stripling of Stripling Media, and featuring Harold Smith, Dr Michael Fletcher and Donna Baker of the Albert Gore Center.

Hannah and Adalyn star in a short film about modern sisterhood, written and directed by Dave Stripling. Starring Hannah and Adalyn, which I already said, but they said put it in again. Produced for Single Cam 2 at MTSU under Professor Edward Bowen.

A project for my Single Cam 2 class at MTSU featuring my wife and daughters, our new home, and our cat Smoky. The point was to show an emotion, and I picked "amusement" from the list.

This is the bare bones version of Episode 1 of Just South of Nashville, a documentary series I'm producing on the Murfreesboro music scene of the 1980s and 1990s. This is supposed to focus on all the venues of that era, but due to time constraints and the need to hand in my final (this first one is for a class) I only covered a few venues that have been demolished or changed from what they were back then. More research will go into the cut-ins, and I'll add more interviews as I work on it.
